Hi! I am Leyi, a dancer and choreographer.
To dance is to speak in a language that precedes words – that connects the deepest parts of the inner self to the vastness of the world around us. For me, dance is not just a performance; it is a safe space where memory, emotion, and existence meet.

My path has never been walked alone; it has been shaped by the vibrant communities that embraced my movement. With gratitude to Oxford University PhoenOx Chinese Dance Society and Yuka Kodama Ballet Group in Oxford, UK. Currently, I am dancing with Semper mobilis and Studio 56 in Dresden, Germany. I would also like to achknowledge SJ International School of Ballet and The Grand Ballet in Hong Kong, China.
Now, I am expanding my lens beyond the stage to explore dance cinematography. Stay tuned.
